Pirate Activities
1.Treasure Hunt: Get all the little pirates excited with a treasure hunt. Have two or three treasure chestshidden in the yard, and if possible dig a hole and bury the treasure. Divide the little pirates up into two or three teams and give each team their own treasure map. The team must work together to find where the treasure is buried. If needed, one adult can help each team decipher the clues that lead to the buried treasure.
- Walk the Plank Game: This is a fun activity for kids of all ages. Use a 6ft to 8ft wooden plank screwed into a couple of plastic crates. Paint the words “Walk the Plank” with black paint on top of the board. Test each pirate’s skill and bravery, and have each guest walk the plank.
- The pirate shop: This one is guaranteed to be a real hit. Hide gold coins that kids can find throughout the party. The kids can then purchase goodies and dress up items from the shop. Kids will have so much fun counting their gold and buying as much as they can. You could even sell treasure maps as a lucky dip where only one of the maps lead to the actual treasure.
